Warranty Information

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. For minor faults, we will repair or replace the item to ensure it meets acceptable quality standards.

Warranty Periods

• Electric Fireplaces & Indoor Furniture: 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects. View full warranty details.
• Outdoor Furniture: 3-year structural warranty (frame only). View full warranty details.
• Specific warranty details for certain products can be found on their respective product pages.

Important Notes

• Warranty applies only to private household use. It does not cover commercial, rental, or trade use.
• Valid for the original purchaser, and the product must remain within Australia.
• Warranty is non-transferable.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Before returning an item, please contact our Customer Service team.

To lodge a claim, email us with:

• Purchaser’s name and order number
• A detailed description of the issue
• Photos or a video showing the issue

Send your claim to info@modaliving.com.au, and we will review it promptly.

How We Resolve Warranty Issues

• Spare Parts Replacement: We send the required parts at no cost.
• Partial Refund/Store Credit: For minor defects, we may offer compensation.
• Product Replacement: If a replacement is needed, we will arrange one (subject to availability).
• Full Refund/Pro-Rata Refund: If no replacement is available within 4 weeks, you may receive a full or pro-rata refund.

Additional Considerations

• DIY Solutions: Some minor issues can be fixed with simple cleaning or replacing a small part. We may offer store credit as compensation.
• Packaging Damage: Minor transit damage to packaging is not considered a warranty issue if the product itself is unaffected.
• Color & Material Variations: Due to handcrafted production, slight variations in color and finish may occur.
• Product Maintenance: Regular maintenance helps extend the lifespan of your furniture.
