Electric Fireplace Warranty
Moda Living is committed to providing high-quality electric fireplaces and reliable after-sales support.
This warranty policy outlines the terms for repairs, replacements, and support in the event of defects in materials or workmanship.
1. Standard Warranty Coverage
All Moda Living electric fireplaces come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
If a valid claim is made within the warranty period, we may, at our discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished parts
- Replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished unit
- Provide replacement parts for customer installation where appropriate
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

2. Extended Warranty Options
We also offer optional extended warranty plans for additional protection:

1-Year Extended Warranty: Total coverage of 2 years

2-Year Extended Warranty: Total coverage of 3 years

3-Year Extended Warranty: Total coverage of 4 years
Extended warranties provide the same level of coverage as the standard warranty and must be purchased at checkout or within 30 days of the original purchase.
3. What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality
- Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
- Damage from power surges, electrical faults, water exposure, fire, or other external factors
- Use in commercial, rental, or industrial environments
- Consumable components such as light bulbs, fuses, and batteries
- Issues caused by improper maintenance or lack of cleaning
- Outdoor installation of indoor-rated fireplaces
- On-site or in-home service (available at additional cost if requested)
- Indirect or consequential loss, including transport or handling costs
- Labour costs related to removal or reinstallation
- External mantels or surrounding structures

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If your fireplace develops a fault, please follow these steps:

Contact our Customer Service team via email or phone with:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
- Description of the issue, with photos or video
- Product serial number (if available)
- Our team will assess your claim and confirm eligibility
- If approved, we will provide a suitable resolution (repair, parts, or replacement)
5. Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty provides additional benefits and does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
